Rapper, singer, songwriter, actor, record producer, and rapper from Canada is Aubrey Drake Graham, better known by his stage name Drake. On October 24, 1986, he was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
In 2001, Drake made his acting debut as the lead character in the Canadian adolescent drama “Degrassi: The New Generation.” But he always had a love for music, and in 2006 he began putting out mixtapes.
Drake’s third mixtape, “So Far Gone,” was released in 2009 to positive reviews and helped him land a record deal with Lil Wayne’s Young Money Productions. “Thank Me Later,” his first studio album, was released in 2010 and debuted at the top of the US Billboard 200.
Drake proceeded to have financial and critical success with his succeeding albums, “Take Care” (2011), “Nothing Was the Same” (2013), and “Views” (2016). Among other honors, he has received 27 Billboard Music Awards, six American Music Awards, and four Grammy Awards.
